Much more than just music for biscuits, this is an outstanding collection of 1960's advertising jingles from England. There is something rather strange about hearing the angelic voices of these singers attempting to sell tractors, beer and banking services. However, being advertising music it has a way of drawing you in and keeping your attention. Amongst the groovy ads there are some nice extended musical numbers such as "Grass On The Pitch" and all of the unknown instrumentals. If you would like more of this type of music you can download it here or here.

Please note - Between Tracks 1 and 37 the songs and titles don't match up (they are one off). I'm sure you'll be able to work out what's playing though. To find out more about Mike Sammes check out this link -

Your blog is too good.
Please slow down, I don't have enough time to listen to all of this stuff. For today i'm only going to download this and the Ultra Vision LP, in an attempt at self-restraint.

Sorry blunde, I might slow down a little mid year depending on a few different factors. Until then you will just have to try and keep up!
